Famous for its slogan, "Built for Life" Stanley Thermos products have an excellent reputation, almost indestructible. Having once thought that the stories about their life and durability are just marketing hype or a group of remakes too much, I decided to get to the bottom of things and some experiments on my own. I will try and abuse of the Stanley thermoses breaking point, and see if it still keeps the coffee hot after a considerable amount of physical damage.At worst, I'll see if you develop a leak.
My guinea pig is a classic green Stanley thermos that I inherited from my father. And 'bigger than me, but can still keep the coffee hot for almost 24 hours, but I just attributed his longevity to the fact that my father is a monster OCD clean.
